Review

In an admirable attempt to bring attention to a pleasant and little-known topic in Telugu cinema, director Haritha Gogineni explores it.

Vedhika does a passable job at pivotal scenes, especially the pre-climax and climax of the movie. Her decision to accept such a demanding position is admirable.

The picture tries to convey a significant tale, but it is difficult to understand due to its unclear writing. Although the tale starts off promisingly, it loses interest as it goes along and becomes overshadowed by repetitious scenes.

Although having three timelines adds interest, the story is difficult to follow because of their sudden changes. Casting might have been more successful, particularly for the child actors.

Tighter editing and a faster pacing would have made the psychological thriller aspects of the movie more engaging. But in several situations, the intensity is insufficient, resulting in less effect than desired.

Conclusion

Overall, Fear makes an effort to address a significant issue but fails because of its uneven narrative and technological issues. Despite the hard work of Vedhika and Haritha Gogineni, the picture lacks the depth and consistency it needs, which lessens its overall effect. It may have been a more successful psychological thriller with a tighter storyline and better pacing.
