Review

Anushka Shetty demands attention in many scenes and dons a strong role once more. She has a powerful on-screen presence and shines in action scenes when her aggressiveness is realistic.

In his first appearance in Tollywood, Vikram Prabhu gives a performance worth seeing. Despite having little screen time, he makes the most of it, and his sequences with Anushka are excellent.

Chaitanya Rao makes the most of a well-written part, while Jagapathi Babu injects humor with his fleeting appearances. The supporting cast does a good job.

Action, love, and retribution are all present in the movie, but it lacks a compelling plot to keep them all together. The events are uninteresting due to the dull and predictable writing.

Particularly in the second half, which had the potential for a strong denouement but falters because of shoddy and inconsistent scripting, the movie lacks emotional depth. A number of arcs are left undeveloped as a result of the sudden and strange character developments.

Even important parts like those played by Anushka and Ravindra Vijay could have had better scripting. Although the characters are given promise, they never get the nuance or development that would propel the story further.

Conclusion

Ghaati is a vengeance drama that functions well in some scenes overall. Despite Vikram Prabhu’s commendable debut and Anushka Shetty’s intense performance, the film’s poor narrative and drab execution detract from its overall impact. The development of a few characters might have been improved. You may see this movie if you want to, but it’s best to have modest expectations.
