Story

The dystopian setting of 2898 AD, when Kashi is the only city on Earth, is the setting for Complex’s ruler, Supreme Yaskin (Kamal Haasan), who dreams of a new planet and creates a reproductive lab to make it a reality. He tests numerous ladies before deciding that Sumathi (Deepika Padukone) is the ideal candidate for his large-scale experiment.

In the meantime, vicious bounty hunter Bhairava (Prabhas) longs to enter Complex in search of a better life. Simultaneously, Amitabh Bachchan’s mysterious character Ashwatthama appears with the purpose to rescue Sumathi from Yaskin’s grasp. Bhairava meets Ashwatthama, motivated by the bounty on Sumathi, and a violent battle breaks out.
