Meter

Meter Movie in iBOMMA. Kiran Abbavaram is making a lot of effort to establish a reputation as an actor in Telugu films. His notion of attempting to make a number of films that are distinctive from one another shows his efforts. However, the proper tales will always validate your efforts and increase audience engagement. Let’s see if his most recent film, “Metre,” follows him down that road or not.

Short Story

The protagonist of the tale is Arjun Kalyan (Kiran Abbavaram), an enthusiastic young man who ends up working as a SI. However, he despises his work and makes every effort to get fired from the organisation. Not everything went as he had hoped it would.

He gains notoriety in the same field due to certain unanticipated events, and it is around this time that he engages in conflict with Kantam Baireddy (Dhanush Pawan). What’s the fight? How a careless SI who despises his job succeeds and rededicates himself makes up for the remainder of the film.

Performence

S.I. Kiran Abbavaram In some comic and sad sequences, Arjun Kaylan conveys sincerity with a sincerity that our hearts can relate to. But he largely appears to be illiterate in a tale that is so erratic and has been repeated countless times. His performance is forced, and he has to improve his delivery of the dialogue. The same pallid tone is becoming tedious to hear at this point.

Atulya Ravi comes up short. She seemed adorable at times, but her portrayal at the scene where she must build a bond with the hero was ludicrous. Even for the early 2000s, Saptagiri’s comedy continues to be a letdown.

Dhanush Pawan as baddie Kantam Baireddy makes his presence felt with his masculine body. But the role is a cliched Telugu cinema villain, that didn’t gives him enough meat to shine. The performances of the rest of the cast were ordinary.

Technical Aspect

For a movie backed by the great Mythri Movie makers, the production values for this film look substandard. It gets reflected in technical departments, the cinematography by Venkat C Dileep was underwhelming, and the movie never really “Looks” great to rave at some shots that relax our eyes.

His camera angles might occasionally appear strange, and the DI could use some work. The film has a few sequences that seem pretty gory. Both Sai Kartheek’s score and music are unremarkable. Karthik Srinivas’ editing is sufficient. The battles’ slo-mos looked horrible. Given how desperately the movie tries to be action-packed and family-friendly, they could have been trimmed better.

Review

Ramesh Kadhuri picked a worn-out template narrative. He never really concentrates on adding amusing treatment to it. The script appeared to be a mash-up of other police procedurals that we have seen numerous times.

Given the commercial mass masala genre, one can’t really complain about how the scenes flow, but one expects some sort of x-factor in a moment to keep his interest, and that’s where this movie falls flat. The humour and the feelings don’t really fit the setting. Given how badly they are written, one could keep questioning what led Kiran to believe this tale.
