Review
Since the previous installment was such a big success, anticipation for the sequel is extremely high. In the second episode of the series, Miles encounters other Spider-Men, Women, Animals, and more as gateways to new realities are opened.
It’s a fun computer-animated superhero movie because of its well-developed characters, dialogue, and emotions. Marvel fans are accustomed to the idea of a multiverse, but Spider-Verse takes it a step further, and seeing it on large screens is fantastic.
In this section, Miles and Gwen’s chemistry is effectively highlighted. The speech in these parts is really good, and it’s entertaining to observe Miles’ tearful interactions with Gwen and his parents.
For Indian fans of Spider-Man in particular, the movie has a surprise. In this follow-up, the creators present the Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar (Karan Soni). Even though he only appears in a few moments, his character has a significant impact. He has entertaining and humorous chats with Miles and Gwen.
In terms of technicality, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is the film’s prequel. The film’s incredible visuals, VFX, and amazing score keep viewers captivated to the screen.
Conclusion
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a visually pleasing film overall, but the plot isn’t that interesting. It is regrettable that the developers decided to save the primary story for the next installment. The film’s highlights are its breathtaking sights, a few poignant exchanges, and Pavitr Prabhakar’s debut. This weekend, if you’re an avid superhero and animated movie enthusiast, you should watch this movie.
