Review

Sree Vishnu is excellent in all five of the roles that she portrays. Sree Vishnu does a fantastic job at showcasing how he shaped the body language for each character. In the conclusion, Sree Vishnu gives the best performance as Vibhuti, which makes the audience cry. Ritu Varma contributes a lot of depth to the movie and is given a substantial role.

In Swag, Meera Jasmine is given an excellent character to play, and she does a fantastic job with it. Both Sunil and Daksha Nagarkar did a respectable job in their roles. In his important job, Goparaju Ramana is outstanding. The plot of Swag is really interesting and has clever turns throughout.

The second half contains a powerful message that is delivered in a convincing way and stirs up tremendous emotions in us. In the final twenty minutes of the movie, the confusion around the legal heir is skillfully resolved.

The production design of the movie is one of its greatest features. The spectator is transported to a completely new universe as the regal era is skillfully portrayed. The way each character is introduced in the first half and the use of poros are both excellent.

Swag is told in a rather confusing way, despite having a really original concept. The director, Hasith Goli, takes a long time to get to the point because there are too many people to introduce. By the halfway mark, the audience is left with many unanswered questions due to the lack of clarity in the story.

The movie has a few logical fallacies as well. The personalities of Daksha Nagarkar and Meera Jasmine are shown in a bygone era, and we are unaware of their activities at that time. The movie moves at a somewhat leisurely pace as well. The story is jaded and takes a while to reveal the real twist, even if there aren’t many unpleasant scenes.

Another problem is the length of the movie. It seems unnecessary to confuse the viewers so much, one gets the impression. An interesting screenplay may have brought an excellent story with a straightforward storyline to life, but this isn’t the case because the movie lacks momentum in the middle parts.

Conclusion

Overall, Swag is a really good film with excellent performances and a compelling tale, but its bland screenplay makes it difficult to grasp the true idea quickly. Try this movie for Sree Vishnu’s heartfelt performance, but remember to set reasonable expectations.
