Story

Popular artist Abhimanyu Narayana (Prakash Raj) in Surabhi Natak Mandali survives solely on his faith in plays and does not work. The daughter of another theater star, Sahadev (Nazar), is Rama (Regina Cassandra), with whom his son Krishna (Dilip Prakash) inadvertently falls in love. Following a series of dramatic events, Rama and Krishna fall in love. The elders, however, make the decision to wed the two. But they are unaware of that. What kind of changes occurred in Krishna and Rama’s lives as a result of the drama surrounding their love tale after that? or? That concludes the tale.

Review

This “Utsavam” film, which explores the idea of giving dying dramas their former glory, has some poignant moments and some important lessons. In a similar vein, the director has crafted a charming love tale centered around Surabhi’s plays. The lives of the dramatists are the focus of the first half in particular. What would happen if the dramas regain their previous glory? The perspectives on the scenes are really excellent.

Regarding the performers’ performances, Dilip Prakash gives a strong performance. He did a great job acting in the family and love story parts. Additionally, Dilip Prakash has done a good job of maintaining his physical attributes and demeanor. Prakash Raj performed admirably in a crucial part as well.Brahmanandam and Nazar were equally outstanding.

The majority of the film consists of plays, including Daksha Yagnam’s play, and many of the scenes and lines are uninteresting. Additionally, those scenes appear strained. The absence of commercial themes and the impression that the screenplay is moving too slowly are the film’s negative aspects, despite the fact that this festival film is impressive in certain spots with mind-blowing emotional passages.

If the filmmaker had added more intrigue to the earlier part of the narrative, it would have worked better. In fact, even if the main characters’ emotions are properly developed, there are moments when it feels like a melodrama. In this vein, important scenes lack compelling storytelling. While the background is recreated, some scenes are the same.
