Review

It is commendable that Aishwarya Rajesh took on and skillfully portrayed a difficult character.

GV Prakash does a good job portraying a man who is having trouble with his family and wife. As the mother of GV Prakash, Rohini Molleti likewise excels in her part.

You’ll be shocked if the plot revolves only around snoring and how it affects a pair. The reunification of an old couple becomes the main subject of the second half, while sleep apnea dominates the first half.

Regrettably, the sequences that deal with the problem are shallow, and the main plot drags easily. A plot like this needs emotional depth, which is conspicuously lacking.

It would have been better to establish the chemistry and character arcs of the leads. The tunes also don’t really stick in your memory.

The screenplay is written badly. Kaali Venkat, Thalaivasal Vijay, and Nandhini’s supporting roles are underdeveloped and omit potential for deeper investigation.

Conclusion

Overall, GV Prakash Kumar, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Rohini give mediocre performances in the romantic comedy play DeAr. The film fails in spite of their best efforts because of its poor storyline, shoddy acting, and inability to arouse true emotional depth. To have a better time this weekend, it’s a good idea to look for other entertainment options.
