Properly capturing the essence of the protagonist is crucial for films such as Tillu Square and DJ Tillu, and it presents a significant challenge to the filmmakers. It will be challenging to reproduce the same magic that has enthralled the audience with Tillu. However, the team worked with zeal.

This is without a doubt Sidhu’s performance. He is the focal point of this Tillu series, and viewers will enjoy him much. Sidhu immediately captures our interest with his one-liners, humorous mannerisms, and body language in the opening scene. With his incredible comedic timing, Sidhu excels.

Being a writer himself, Sidhu plays to the gallery knowing exactly what the public wants from him. There is constant entertainment in the second half, which is good. Witty one-liners and current debates create humor. In this daring portrayal, Anupama Parameswaran looks fantastic. She and the heroine have a strong chemistry, and Tillu, one of her characters, accompanies the hero around the movie as if she were a Square ancestor. Prince Cecil, Muralidhar Goud, and other supporting actors do a respectable job in their parts.

The first section ends where the sequel begins. However, following a strong start, the first hour saw a slight slowdown. The love track is rife with jokes. Some of them land rather well, but others don’t function as planned. As a result, the first half of the plot felt a little slow.

As previously said, the foundation of movies such as Tillu Square is characters, not story. Those hoping for a compelling narrative may find it a little lacking. You may experience a sense of déjà vu in certain situations because the plot is essentially the same as the previous. Some of the ways that certain issues have been handled appear ridiculous. There’s hardly much screen time for Murali Sharma’s role, and the resolution feels rushed.

Tillu Square is an excellent follow-up to DJ Tillu that offers a lot of fun overall. The heart and soul of this outrageous performer is Tilluga Sidhu, who never fails to make us laugh with his comedic timing, on-screen persona, and mannerisms. There are certain sequences that remind us of the first installment, and the plot is similar. Certain parts of the first half were unconvincing. The whole thing was a little dull. However, the most of the second half is made up of nonstop entertainment, which is excellent. Even if there are some technical issues, the film is nevertheless entertaining. Fans of DJ Tillu will enjoy this follow-up as well. Visit it.
